Sherry Butler
Chief Executive Officer
Sherry has been actively involved in counseling since receiving her Master’s degree from the University of Memphis in 1997. She joined MRC in 1998 and took over leadership of Clinical Operations in 2006. Sherry is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She previously served on the board of the Tennessee Department of Health Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors.

 

Tiffany Booth
Chief Operating Officer
Tiffany joined the MRC team in 2020.   Prior to MRC, Tiffany worked in an outpatient addiction treatment setting for over 5 years.  Tiffany has a bachelors in social sciences and achieved her LADAC, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor in 2021.  

 

Jennifer Armstrong
Director of Business Operations
Jennifer began her career with MRC in 2002 and assumed her director role in 2020. Jennifer has an MBA from the University of Memphis.

Directors

Detra Hopkins
Director of Youth Program
Detra began her career at MRC in 2009 as a Counselor. She has since served as a Family Counselor and Treatment Coordinator before being promoted to Program Director in 2015. Detra graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor’s of Social Work and a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling. Detra achieved her LADAC, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor in 2021.

 

Ashley Ellis
Director of Admissions
Ashley joined the MRC team in 2017.   Prior to her work in Admissions, Ashley worked as a counselor in both the Adult and Youth Programs. Ashley has a Master’s in Psychology and achieved her LADAC, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselor in 2022. 

 

Brad Shideler
Director of Facilities
Brad joined MRC in 2004 and was promoted to Director in 2019. He currently manages MRC’s maintenance and food services departments.

 

Anna Rivera
School Principal
Anna joined the MRC team in 2017 as a teacher and was promoted to school principal in 2019. Prior to that, Anna taught for Memphis City/Shelby County Schools for nine years. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Memphis in 2008, a Master’s degree in English in 2013, and completed her Master’s degree in Counseling in 2019.
